” I go “click” & The Universe Stops For Just One Second”
Franco Sicilia got his start out of college at Comcast in the advertising division. After 3 years he moved on to be the 65th hire at the history making CDnow.com. He not only acted as a musical guru but worked in the merchandising department for 3 years handling record companies and new product.
As the bubble started to burst on many internet start-ups Franco went into a new trend, Web Project Management. A new passion was found as Franco’s top client was K’nex Toys. With the knowledge he gained he started working on a side project with friend, collaborator, and main designer, Al Camardella. Together they created and serviced over 50 web projects including websites for Bigg Romeo, The Clarks, Niece Lumber, and the Town and Country Photo Dealers Network.
In the spring of 2010, Ego Studios LLC. was born. Franco decided it was time to change the way things were done. It was time to change with the times. He wrote and produced 2 iPhone applications, opened a full service photography studio, and launched 3 websites on his own. The time had come to put the customer way out in front. It was time for change.
Franco usually has one of four things in his hands 90% of the day, his iPhone, Macbook Pro, microphone or camera. A camera junkie from an early age, he took his love for sports and landscape to a whole new level in the digital age.
During the day Franco is the president of Ego Studios and three nights a week gets on stage as the lead singer and band leader of the Philadelphia Wedding Band, Bigg Romeo.
In early 2010 Franco made the jump into a beautiful 2700 square foot climate controlled studio in the historic Canal Works building in Bristol PA. After 2 years in a shared space… a homebase was found 2 blocks away that was all his..
Franco has a divine love for portraits, boudoir, lifestyle, fashion, sports and theme shoots. Bringing beauty out of anyone… ” I want to tell a story with every shoot. I want to stop the world with just one click.” In a short amount of time he’s become a published and accomplished photographer who is in demand in the Bucks County area. His love of people, smiles and friendship drives Ego Studios.
